BREED HISTORY

BREED CHARACTERISTICS

Arabians have been carefully bred for thousands of years, making them the oldest, purest breed in the world. Arabians imported to England became the foundation of the Thoroughbred breed and Arabians have influenced many of the modern light breeds.

Arabians have a unique profile with a "dished" or curved face, large beautiful eyes, and *big* nostrils. Because of their strength, intelligence, and gentle nature, Arabians are perfect for many English and Western sports.
