Frequently Asked Questions
What’s a blog? According to Wikipedia, a weblog, which is usually shortened to blog, is a type of website where entries are made (like in a journal or diary). A typical blog combines text, images, and links related to its topic. The Girls Horse Club blog is more like an online magazine, with articles, information, activities and events that are relevant to our audience of young (and not-so-young) horse girls.
How do I create an account? Girls Horse Club does not have accounts. No sign up is required to enjoy any of the free activities and content at GHC.
What do I do here? Everyone is invited to participate by commenting on the most current blog articles. We don’t publish all comments, but make every effort to share on topic (horse related), meaningful, constructive and/or positive thoughts from our readers.
How do I comment on the blog? Scroll to the bottom of any blog to share your thoughts. Comments are not open on all blogs, but are generally open for 30 days after a blog is posted.
When will my comment get posted? All comments are moderated to be sure they follow the GROUND RULES, and not all comments are published. The blog is not a chat room, but if your comment is on topic (related to the blog you’re commenting on) and meaningful, it should appear within 24 hours.
How can I become a blogger or get a story published at GirlsHorseClub.com? Please see the SUBMISSION GUIDE for information about how to be considered for publication.
Can I create a virtual horse? Girls Horse Club is a virtual barn with a small herd of virtual horses in our stables, but we don’t have a way for you to create your own virtual horse. If you’re looking for a virtual horse game, there are many great sites you can find by searching for “online horse games.”
