Guided Always

The glow that breathes upon the air
Are millions of glistens in a horse’s stare.
Clouds mottled blue and purple throughout the days
Are the icy pelts of dapple greys,
And skirting these herds of passing steeds
Prance sunny palominos, our eyes they lead.

Winter frost ponies lace up the glass
In grand migrations.
Blooming in frisk,
Blossoms wild inhale new dawns,
Stretching their petals in waking fashion,
Yawning out pent-up neighs.

Amidst the darkest hours with no direction,
Around I see horses, and I am no longer afraid.
Imprisoned I am in a Friesian’s pelt,
His mane is the overheard branches.
Winds, the invisible Pegasi, part them
And a sunset radiates down, a sunset of horses.
West returns, their light leads out,
And they guide me.
Horses guide me home, to a home of horses.

Author’s Note: Horses are always around us, just let your imagination free and fly with it. You can always count on finding the light that is horses, guiding you at gloomy times.
