Ebony

A dream in my mind
A vision in the air
A sunrise to my heart
A horse

A vivid fantasy
An outstanding beauty
A consistent rythym
A horse

Dark bay was his coat
Ebony was his mane
His ankles touched with a blanket of white
His eyes spoke my name

Into the wind I breathed a desire
Can you be mine?
Two pools of russet dived back deep
How could I not?

A divine gift
A blissful trance
A jubilant cry
A horse

A blessing
A wonder
A never ending dance
My heart forever
My horse
