What I Call Freedom

Hooves pounding, hearts beating as one
Mane and hair entangled
Wind whispering in two faces
Discovering new places
∞∞ That is what I call freedom ∞∞
Hot horse-flesh surging beneath you
Blue sky above you
Dust kicking up behind you
The whole world ahead of you

Champion poem Martha! When I was finished reading this poem I had to read it again. At the end, I felt a rush of energy. Remembering the momentum and adrenaline I feel when in transition from a trot to a lope.. pure ecstasy!
