When I Say Never

I know I can run with you
over all terrains,
and I’ll never trip.

I know that I can face problems head-on,
taking the punches of those foul
and I’ll never bruise.

I know I can borrow skills to soar,
the power to defy earth.
And I’ll never fall.

I know that horses are at my side,
And when they’re not,
I’ll never leave theirs.

  15. Nevada Sunshine: Thank you, I’d love to read your poem some day. Starting out is hard sometimes, but as you write more your creative juices flow easier and, before you know it, you’ll be writing like a pro! I usually try to find inspiration and get the words from my heart.
